Corn syrup is a food syrup which is made from the starch of corn and is used in food to soften texture, add volume, prevent crystallization of sugar and enhance flavour.
This American product is used in cake decorating to add sweetness and fluffiness to cakes and cupcakes and to make them last longer. But also used for homemade chocolates, fondants and American desserts.
